The all-new Hyundai Venue hasn't even released yet, being due sometime during the fall of 2019, and according to authoritative speculation, it's already looking to be one of the highest-value compact crossovers for the investment in the US.
It's set to rival competitors such as Ford EcoSport, Nissan Kicks, and Kia Soul for what it offers -- a worthy slate of features for an entry-level SUV -- even going as far as to be a better value than each by price point, one that starts around as little as $17,000. A recent Kelley Blue Book first-look review says it all.
For instance, the standard infotainment system measures a whopping 8 inches, and it'll come equally standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. That smartphone interoperability's sure to appeal to jet-setters and younger professionals looking to remain connected to a busy urban lifestyle.
On a related note, a navigation system with three years of real-time traffic info and map updates will be available. Ditto for next-gen Blue Link. This connected car tech works with Alexa via your Amazon Echo and Assistant via your Google Home device, enabling remote start, climate control, and more.
KBB even calls it a "compelling choice for teen drivers" thanks to an "impressive safety suite" comprised of forward collision-avoidance assistance, pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistance, and driver attention warning features, which come standard. Others, such as situational awareness-enhancing blind-spot and rear cross-traffic warning, are available.
Finally, but certainly not all, the crossover's ride quality, said the auto research and valuation expert, "challenged and exceeded many of [its] expectations," running mannerly and quietly for a small SUV. Hyundai even claims that its internal testing shows a combined fuel economy that's just as excellent -- up to 32 mpg. That's sure to put you in weekend-road-trip-out-of-West-Nyack territory.
