Be a part of the most important team in the dealership - the Service Department! We are looking for Automotive Technicians to man our expanded service bays.

In this role, you will quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance, identify the cause of breakdowns, and repair them using the most optimal solutions.

Our service department is clean, safe, and state-of-the-art. We produce 65-70 hours per bay!

Responsibilities

• Routine inspections

• System diagnostics

• Full automotive troubleshooting and testing

• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals, including employees and customers, on an as-required basis.

• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.

• Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.

• Maintain an organized, neat, and safe bay.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete extensive training on Hyundai's award-winning line of cars and SUVs.

• Meet with customers, ask questions, and listen to determine their needs.

• Provide vehicle options, conduct test drives, and demonstrate vehicles.

• Work with sales managers to provide price quotes that meet customer expectations.

• Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate leads and close sales.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Outgoing personality with the ability to develop strong customer relationships - a true "people person."

• Basic knowledge of computer software and internet proficiency.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

• Professional appearance.

• Bilingual preferred.

• Clean driver's license.
