The New Hyundai Elantra Is Here
As a sporty and sleek sedan, the Elantra is an attractive car. It's priced right for people who have a limited budget, and there are six trims from which our New York drivers can choose. These range from the base SE to the upgraded Limited and Sport and have a trim for every type of driver.

Discover Which New Hyundai Elantra Fits You Best
Though it's where the Elantra starts, the SE has many advanced features. For instance, it has a rearview camera that can help you when you're backing up, especially since it has parking guidelines. It also has driver-assist features that can keep you in your lane and work to prevent forward collisions.
Moving up one trim gets you a seven-inch touchscreen and Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ compatibility. The SEL has two other important safety components - the blind-spot collision warning system and the warning system that can alert you to rear cross traffic while you're in reverse.
You start to see more luxury items in the other trims. The Value Edition comes with a power sunroof and heated seats for extra warmth in the winter. Making it convenient to start things up is the Proximity Key with a push button start. Dual charging USB ports are found starting on the Eco trim, and leather seats become standard on the Limited. Here, you also get to take advantage of wireless charging and premium audio. At the top end of the line is the Sport, with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED exterior lights for added style.
A Different Engine For Differing Preferences
The Hyundai Elantra runs on either a four-cylinder, two-liter engine with 147-horsepower, a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine with 128-horsepower (as seen in the Eco), or a turbocharged 1.6-liter model with 201-horsepower (as seen in the Sport). The standard engine can achieve up to a combined 35 miles-per-gallon, and the Eco does a bit better with a combined fuel economy of 36 miles-per-gallon. The Sport, due to its higher-performing components, comes in at an estimated 29 miles-per-gallon.
